You want your kids to be well prepared for life, and you know this mean kids will make mistakes and must be held responsible for those mistakes. Parenting the Love & Logic Way will teach parents how to:
- Avoid un-winnable power-struggles and arguments
- Stay calm when their kids do incredibly upsetting things
- Set and enforce limits
- Avoid enabling and begin empowering
- Help their kids learn from mistakes rather than repeating them
- Raise kids who are family members rather than dictators
- and much more!
Mondays – December 2, 9 16 & 30th and
Wednesdays – December 4 and 18
Love and Logic is a parenting program for parents and caregivers of children 3 to 18 years of age. Love and Logic help parents and children build a rewarding relationship built upon love and trust. One will leave the class knowing how to: stop arguing with their child(ren), set enforceable limits, help your kids learn from their mistakes, and prevent the parent brain drain. This program is geared for parents, grandparents and care providers.
This session of Love and Logic will have a total of 6 classes, with each session lasting 1.25 hours; it is not appropriate for children to attend with their parent or caregiver. All caregivers are welcomed and encouraged to attend regardless of their specific relationship to the child(ren) they care for, but it is helpful if they have a significant and ongoing relationship with a child between 3 to 18 years of age.
