“Doing” Session for Local Community Groups to Address Childcare

Are you part of a community group that wants to better support your members who have childcare challenges?

Are you unsure about what exactly you could do to help?

Are you interested in working with other community groups across the community to increase childcare resources for local parents?

Join our “Doing” Session for Local Community Groups to Address Childcare on October 20th, 2020, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. This meeting will be held virtually and facilitated by your local Community Development Educator, Jessica Jane Spayde.

Register here to participate in a session for local groups to:

  • Discuss what local community groups are already doing to help their members with childcare challenges,
  • Plan for (short-term and long-term) collaborative approaches to address childcare challenges, and
  • Begin implementing the first steps in a collaborative approach to increase childcare resources for local parents.

This meeting is being held via Zoom. For the best interaction, please use a computer, tablet, or smartphone with video and audio capabilities. Calling in on a landline or cell phone will also allow you to hear and speak during the meeting. If you’d like to test out Zoom, either contact the Extension office to set up a one-on-one tutorial, or go to  https://zoom.us/test at your convenience.
