May 15 – Annuals, Perennials, and Biennials – Learn the difference. First 20 adults will design and plant a 12″ pot for their deck using annual flowers. All supplies provided.
June 19 – Monarch Butterflies – Attracting the Adult Butterfly and feeding Caterpillars. Learn to find eggs and caterpillars to successfully raise beautiful butterflies for release. The first 20 Adults will go home with FREE Butterfly Rearing Kit and printed instructions.
July 17 – Bugs: Diseases: Watering – What’s bugging you? A comprehensive approach to garden pest control using multiple tactics to reduce damage and risk.
August 21 – Houseplants: Time to Come in for the Winter – Do’s and dont’s for the care of houseplants, how to provide spaces for your houseplants to thrive and preventing pest infestations while inside.
September 18 – Putting Your Garden to Bed for the Season – Learn what to cut back, what to leave for winter interest, the benefits of winter mulch and how and when to use it.
Sunday, September 22 at 2:00pm – From Weedy to Wonderful – Make a lovely 12″ fall wreath from dried materials from your own back yard. First 15 attendees will be able to create a wreath for a $5 material fee.
