Meet your Crawford County Educator, Sara Tedeschi

 Sara Tedeschi lives on her family farm in Freeman Township, Crawford County. Her work through the County Extension office in Prairie du Chien centers on community economic development in support of thriving rural communities. She works specifically in the programmatic area of Community Food Systems, providing resources, educational opportunities, and community organizing in support of rural food and farm entrepreneurs and small businesses. Sara’s work endeavors to build local markets while also helping to develop the small business sector to prepare and reach those markets. In addition, she supports community access to healthy, local food as part of her work to center Crawford County within a thriving local and regional food system.
