Early Childhood Professional Development

We offer in‑person continuing education workshops for Wisconsin early childhood professionals, including childcare providers, teachers, and administrators.

Our 2026 workshops focus on emotion regulation, helping providers understand how young children manage big feelings, practice co‑regulation strategies, and strengthen family engagement around emotional development.

Each workshop provides 5 hours of Wisconsin Registry–approved continuing education and is designed to be practical, affordable, and relevant.

Now Coming to Crawford County!

These trainings are offered by the University of Wisconsin–Madison Extension in partnership with the Child Care Resource and Referral Network.

The Wisconsin Dream Up Committee and Crawford County Early Childhood Taskforce have created two educational resources!
The first is for those looking to hire childcare providers and contains a list of important interview questions.
The second is an informational guide for parents/guardians on how to establish and maintain a healthy relationship with their childcare provider.
