Time to gather your team for the annual Cardboard Sled Races on January 18, 2020. The races will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall, Wauzeka, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Teams of 3-5 members will design a sled from cardboard. Teams will need to come to the event with a design sketched out. Each team will be given a refrigerator size box, a sheet of plastic and a roll of duct tape. Teams will then have an hour to construct their sled. Each group will present their sled before the races begin. Groups are to talk about why they chose their design and what they predict will happen with their sled. There will be many contest for uniqueness,  best design, time, distance, etc. Only one person is able to ride in the sled during the competitions. Each team in encouraged to have a coach to help them. Only members of the team are able to construct the sled, but adults are able to help cut the cardboard.

To register email your team name, team members, and person to contact if races are cancelled to Steph, by January 16.
